Review by hotel critic
Nestled just five minutes from the beach, this hostel embraces a relaxed vibe that feels like a home away from home. The shared kitchen was well-equipped, allowing for easy meal prep, and there are outdoor dining areas where you can enjoy your meals while soaking up the sun. I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi available in public areas, helping me keep in touch with my research updates back in Edinburgh. While the hostel offers a range of amenities like air conditioning and a leisure room stocked with board games, what truly sets it apart is the sense of community created by guests sharing their artistic talents—musicians, artists, and even fire-twirlers unite here. For just $5, a hearty homemade dinner was a steal, further emphasizing the value proposition. Whether you’re a solo traveler or part of a group, I recommend considering Backpackers as an affordable yet enjoyable choice. Its welcoming atmosphere and proximity to stunning natural beauty could make for a memorable adventure that won’t break the bank!
